Bloopers 2010 !!!

This is actually a table that I haven't posted yet, but I took these photos late last summer when I had a girl's luncheon.  Note that I closed the door to the kitchen, since I was in the midst of prep for the lunch and chaos reigned, but I left the storage dividers for the plates on the floor in front of the door.  Sometimes, time is short and you have to just start flinging things!

Here's my favorite blooper!  Look just to the left of the wreath and you'll see a Daddy-Long-Legs!  And I was so proud of my new fall wreath that I never saw it until it came up on the blog!

This post is in answer to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch.  She has a yearly New Year's Blog Party inviting all bloggers to offer their bloopers.  Check it out.  It should be good for a lot of laughs.

  1. Very pretty table. I love the idea of a blooper party. I always love to watch those on the movies.

  2. I would have never noticed the dividers until you pointed them out. But the spider is adorable!

  3. I so identify with the dividers on the floor...can't tell you how often I leave stuff around and it gets caught in a pic. :)
The granddaddy longlegs is priceless! He was just admiring your wreath, up close! Great wreath...love those white pumpkins!
    Happy New Year!

  4. Daddy Long Legs are good spiders. you left him there to help you curtail the bad stuff... I too have thrown stuff on the floor only to see it later on in the best shot.. Happy new Year.. your wreath is darling.

  5. Those pesky spiders, they're always showing up where we don't want them. I love this blooper. I never noticed mine either until after it was posted. I was too busy looking at your pretty table to notice anything on the floor. I love a good laugh.
    Happy New Year

  6. Love it! And boy, can I identify.

I was so proud of my Chrismtas pictures of the table that I didn't notice that the tour visitors (our house was on a garden club tour) had kicked up enough dust to coat the plates in a layer or two. ;-)

    Love that spider. LOL!

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  7. I don't think I would have noticed the dividers either and I love your "hitch hiker" on the wreath.

  9. Can relate to both of these bloopers! It seems I never see these things until after I hit the publish button! Love the wreath and the spider looks quite normal since they are so prevalent in the fall!

  10. Oh my! I always leave things laying around too! It is frustrating, but now we can save all of those images and for next years party.
    Happy New Year.

  11. Good ones! The Daddy Long Legs was a part of nature, though, so he fit in OK! :-)

  12. Two great ones! My house looks like a bomb went off when I am doing tablescapes. Now I should take photos of it! Love the spider and that you didn't even see it! A perfect fall accessory.
